JOHNNIE'S DAY

If you eat at Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler, 6629 N.W. Expressway, on the first Friday of the month, it can benefit our neighborhood association. Johnnie’s will give NCHNA a donation of 20 percent of sales for which customers have designated NCHNA as the recipient. It's simple--just be sure you tell the cashier when you pay for your meal that you want to support North Coronado Heights Neighborhood Association. Enjoy a great Johnnies meal and help our neighborhood association!

NEIGHBORS NIGHT OUT

North Coronado Heights residents are invited to join us for our free annual Neighbors Night Out social event. There will be food, games, door prizes, and a chance to get better acquainted with other neighborhood residents. The event will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church on the southeast corner of the intersection of N. Portland Avenue and N.W. Expressway.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE SPECIAL COLLECTION EVENT

We will have a mobile collection center set up at N. Rotary Park the morning of October 10 to accept your unwanted toxic materials for safe disposal. Bring your old paint, varnish, herbicides, pesticides, batteries, motor oil, solvents, cleaning supplies, aerosols, and other substances that should not be put into your regular trash. No need to leave your car--city workers will unload them from your trunk or pickup bed. Drive east from Tulsa Avenue on 56th Terrace into the park. NCHNA officers will be there to guide you. Bring a recent utility bill to show that you are an Oklahoma City resident.
